About the Event
From Carlisle to critic and columnist via MasterChef, Have I Got News for You, and The Evening Standard, Grace Dent has been on quite a journey.
Her recently published memoir Hungry traces Grace’s story from growing up in Currock, Carlisle, to becoming one of the most recognisable and unique voices on the British food scene today. Hungry tells the real story of how the British working classes have lived, loved, eaten, and had fun over the past 40 years. Grace Dent shares her recollections with fellow epicurean, writer, and critic Alex Clark.
