About the Event
Join us for an intimate event with one of the worlds greatest storytellers, Philip Pullman, as we celebrate 25 years since his coming-of-age masterpiece Northern Lights was published.
Readers will have a rare opportunity to submit questions and find out what adventures a grown-up Lyra has in store in Pullman's latest books, The Secret Commonwealth and the newly-published Serpentine, as the author talks life beyond His Dark Materials.
Philip will be in conversation with acclaimed journalist and broadcaster Samira Ahmed.
Serpentine is set after the events of His Dark Materials but before those of The Secret Commonwealth. A teenage Lyra returns to the town of Trollesund, the setting of her first encounter with Iorek Byrneson and Lee Scoresby, in search of an answer to a secret condition.
