About the Event
Could you survive for one day without your phone?
In this award-winning interactive show, featuring poetry and discussion, Rose Condo asks if empathy is facing extinction and whether smartphones are to blame. Having embarked on her own ‘Day Of No Mobile Phones’, Rose explores the links between tech addiction and compassion using herself as the test subject … but does her experiment even work?
Written and toured before the outbreak of Coronavirus, tune in to see this very special edition of The Empathy Experiment where Rose will reveal her findings against the backdrop of lockdown, social isolation and our increased reliance on digital technology. During the show, audience members will be asked to lock away their phones in a sealed envelope (unless, of course, you’re watching on you phone). Afterwards, stick around for a group discussion and Q&A.
