Suzanne Mulholland does nothing by halves. More like quintuples or sextuples. Living and working on a Scottish Borders farm, she has written two books about how to cook – with a vengeance. She wrote The Batch Lady: Shop once. Cook once. Eat well all week which became an instant bestseller and has brought her tens of thousands of followers on social media. It has also caught the lockdown zeitgeist perfectly. Now she has written a second book The Batch Lady Meal Planner. Follow the tips in this and you’ll never again lose track of what’s lurking at the back of your freezer!
Suzanne will read from her new book, and then treat us to a forty-minute demonstration on how to be organised for meal times – in advance. She will show us how to cook three different chicken recipes from her book, doubling up to produce six delicious meals.
What Suzanne gives us is not only excellent food, but her approach also allows us that lovely thing – time!
